Sharpen our sense of risk

The IPCC has called for it, and nature itself is demanding that we face the risks of our human activity as citizens and consumers. The fact that CO2 emissions have never been higher belies our faith in positive climate messaging and incentives. Gentle nudges aren't working. We need to lean into our anxiety, manufacture some guilt. These are important emotions that warn us when all is not well and galvanise us into action.
